Creator, developer and manufacturer of information technologies IBM has announced the launch of the its IBM eServer iSeries which, according to the company, delivers prepackaged software, On/Off Capacity Upgrade on Demand by the day and price/performance improvements of up to 80% for mid-market customers.

The IBM eServer iSeries has been launched in response to customer demand for easy-to-deploy and flexible e-business solutions and is part of a two year, USD500m project to re-energise one of the industry's most popular servers.
