IBM ECONOMICS AND AUS TO PROVIDE ECONOMIC INFORMATION SERVICES

ARMONK, N.Y., April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The IBM Economics staff and AUS Consultants today announced a joint marketing agreement to provide economic information and consulting services to business decision makers. The agreement results from a long-standing relationship between the two companies. IBM Economics will provide forecasts and analyses of the U.S. economy and its major industrial sectors, while AUS will contribute studies and projections of regional economic sectors.
The new partnership will offer a full range of economic reports, including a monthly U.S. macroeconomic newsletter and semiannual reports on industry and regional developments. In addition, they plan to hold seminars in major U.S. cities and, upon request, at client locations. The project teams will also work closely with clients to develop customized products for specialized needs.
The alliance combines the analytic skills of the two organizations with the systems expertise of IBM. The operation will be jointly headed by Dr. Andrew Moody of AUS and Dr. Brian O'Connor of IBM. Clients will have the advantage of more than two decades of experience from each organization.
IBM Economics is based in Armonk and AUS Consultants in Moorestown, N.J.
