IBEX completes Swatch flagship in quick time.
The store, which is now open, was built on a fast-track schedule. The popular Swiss watch chain now occupies a featured position between Hollister and Uniqlo on the ground floor of the iconic, 41-story office tower.
"The Swiss have a reputation for punctuality and precise time pieces, so it was expected that the construction of the Swatch flagship would be in line with both of those ideals," said Andy Frankl, president of IBEX Construction.
"We are pleased that the IBEX Construction team was able to adhere to the strict time schedule and fast-tracked deadlines, without sacrificing attention to detail or the superior quality work that we are known for."
The new store features organic-style Corian watch showcases with made-to-order security fasteners; chandelier lighting manufactured using actual Swatch watches and radius Cortech track lighting.
IBEX installed specially designed curved watch tester display wails and niches as well. The sleek space also features unique, custom-made fabric wall applications.
IBEX provided general contracting service for the new store, which was designed by Norman DiChiara Architects, P.C.
