I-many to Host Web Seminar Detailing Impacts of DoD's New TRICARE Retail Pharmacy Program on Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.

EDISON, N.J. -- Web Seminar to Deliver Hands-on Information about How Complex TRICARE Compliance Requirements Can Be Cost-Effectively Met with I-many Solutions

I-many, Inc. (NASDAQ:IMNY), a provider of advanced Enterprise Contract Management for managing corporate commitments, today announced that they will be hosting a 45-minute web seminar on March 9th at 2:00PM ET / 11:00AM PT to help pharmaceutical manufacturers understand how the Department of Defense's (DoD) new TRICARE Retail Pharmacy Program (TRRx) will impact their business operations and compliance requirements. The web seminar will also provide detailed information demonstrating how the industry can cost-effectively meet the new challenges presented by TRRx with I-many solutions.

TRRx is a federal program that provides pharmacy benefits to almost 9 million active duty and retired military personnel and their dependents through the TRICARE retail pharmacy, a system that includes 53,000 pharmacies. The program mandates that pharmaceutical manufacturers comply with very detailed and complex pricing requirements. In addition, the program allows, and encourages, government audits of manufacturers to ensure they are accurately calculating the refunds required by the government.

"There's been a lot of uncertainty in the pharmaceutical industry since the DoD announced the launch of TRRx this past May, and as a leading provider of compliance solutions we believe it is our role to prepare pharma companies to fully comprehend the true impacts of this new program and how they can be most effectively managed," said Leigh Powell, president and CEO of I-many. "It's one thing to point out the challenges that a new regulatory program can present, and it's quite another to demonstrate how those challenges can be resolved. We will do both in our web seminar in order to ensure the industry has both the information and tools necessary to support this important program."
