I-FLOW ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF THREE MEMBERS OF ITS MANAGEMENT TEAM

 IRVINE, Calif., May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- I-FLOW Corp. (NASDAQ: IFLO), manufacturer and seller of innovative ambulatory infusion devices, today announced the following three new appointments: James J. Dal Porto to the position of corporate executive vice president, R. Douglas Barton to the position of director of U.S. sales, and Anthony E. Norkus to the position of director of marketing.
 Dal Porto, who joined the company in October 1989 as controller, was promoted to vice president of finance & administration and corporate treasurer in March 1991. With this new appointment, he continues his administrative responsibilities as well as those of treasurer and chief financial officer. Dal Porto holds a bachelor of economics degree from UCLA and a master of business administration degree. He has more than 18 years experience in finance and administration with a wide variety of manufacturing, service and retail companies.
 Barton, who was appointed to the position of southern regional sales manager in March 1992, joined I-FLOW from Allergan Inc., where he was a national accounts manager. Barton has more than nine years experience in pharmaceutical sales, and he holds a bachelor of political science degree from the University of Georgia.
 Norkus, who was appointed to the position of western regional sales manager in April 1991, joined I-FLOW from the Strato Medical Division of Pfizer Hospital Medical Products where he was product director of Infusion Devices and district sales manager. Norkus has more than five years experience in the ambulatory infusion business and more than 11 years experience in medical sales and marketing working for such companies as Parker Biomedical and NMS Pharmaceuticals. Norkus holds bachelor of science degrees in both chemistry and biology from California State University at Northridge.
