I-FLOW ACHIEVES SECOND QUARTER REVENUE GROWTH OF 50 PERCENT
AND FIRST SHIPMENTS OF DISPOSABLE PUMPS
IRVINE, Calif., July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- I-Flow Corp. (NASDAQ: IFLOD), manufacturer and seller of innovative ambulatory infusion devices, announced today that gross sales and rental income for the quarter ended June 30, 1992, exceeded $318,000 representing a 50 percent increase over the gross sales and rental income for the previous quarter. In addition, the company announced that initial orders for their new disposable antibiotic pump -- the SideKick, have been received and that shipments have begun.
"This is the second quarter in 1992 that revenue growth has exceeded 50 percent," commented I-Flow President and Chief Executive Officer Donald M. Earhart. "With the recent receipt of $3.8 million dollars in new capital, the continued growth in sales of our VIVUS product line, the first customer shipments of the SideKick, and the growing interest by numerous healthcare companies (United States, Europe, Japan) to possibly license or market our products, we are on schedule to have an outstanding year in 1992."
The VIVUS and SideKick product lines are marketed as the low-cost alternative to IV drug delivery in their respective market niches. Therefore, the company is well positioned to take advantage of today's changing health care environment where increased emphasis is being placed on products that reduce delivery costs while improving the quality of life for patients.
I-Flow Corp. designs, develops, manufactures and markets technically advanced ambulatory infusion systems uniquely well-suited to the alternate care environment. Reliable, efficient and easy to use, I-Flow products offer users substantial opportunities to expand their therapy base, improve quality of care, and increase productivity. These advantages translate into improved revenues and profits for healthcare providers while reducing costs and improving the quality of life for patients.
