THE mother of murdered doctor Joan Francisco wept in court
yesterday as she told of her daughter's last hours.
Venus Francisco learned of the tragedy after alerting police when Joan failed to answer the phone at her north London flat.
Joan, 27, was allegedly strangled by obsessed ex-boyfriend Tony Diedrick. Mrs Francisco told the Old Bailey jury she had asked Diedrick to "leave Joan alone" just weeks before her death.
Computer operator Diedrick, 39, from Maida Vale, denies murder and the case continues.
