I want to see justice.

A WITNESS told the Samantha Madgin murder trial she wants to see justice done because "a baby is growing up without its mother".

Katrina Wandless said she did not know Samantha, who was stabbed in an alley just weeks after giving birth to her son.

Ms Wandless said she was giving evidence at Newcastle Crown Court so those responsible would be brought to book.

A 15-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has admitted Samantha's manslaughter but denies her murder.
