I tried to report rape monster four times.
Midlander Faye Holland, 28, says she was targeted by the sex monster in London in July, 2002. He followed her in his car and flashed his lights as she walked to a bus stop.
The actress was wearing a school uniform because she was booked to play a schoolgirl in a Channel 4 documentary.
Miss Holland, originally from Halesowen, West Midlands, said: 'I was scared that he would get out of the car and attack me. I started to run. It was like a game of cat and mouse.'
She rang the police from her mobile phone and gave them the registration number of the pervert's blue Citroen Xantia. Cops later told her he was a 'married man from Kent and nothing to worry about' and did not take a formal statement.
But by then the serial sex attacker had already struck five times.
Miss Holland rang the police three more times, and even contacted the team hunting the killer of 13 year-old schoolgirl Milly Dowler, but they also refused to take a statement.
By October 2002 Imiela had struck four more times.
After an assault on a 14 yearold girl in October, police issued an e-fit of the suspect and Miss Holland recognised him. She called Crimestoppers but was was not asked to give a full statement until December 2, after Imiela's arrest.
By that time he had kidnapped and indecently assaulted his last victim, a 10 year-old girl in Birmingham.
Yesterday police confirmed that Miss Holland had reported the stalking incident. Scotland Yard compiled an intelligence report which was passed on to Kent Police but Imiela was not contacted.
