Byline: DEMELZA de BURCA

MICHAEL Fassbender has revealed he pitched some ideas for his character Magneto for X-Men: Apocalypse.

The Co Kerry star, 37, said that he has spoken to screenwriter and producer Simon Kinberg about the upcoming sequel to Days Of Future Past.

He told IGN: "I've had a lot of fun with the cast and with Magneto.

"So I'm pretty excited to see how it all comes together."

When quizzed about his ideas for his character Magneto, Fassbender said: "Well, I can't really tell you, I want it to be in the next one.

"I've had these conversations with Simon and there's a certain strand of his story that I think is pretty interesting and would like to explore, if we could."
