Name: Alex Marshall. Age: 20.

Home: Birmingham. Band: Sick City Club. Other members: Lucas Coe (guitar), Tony Rhodes (drums), Adam Barr (bass). Band history: Brought together by university. Started gigging in Jan 2008. Have played all over the country with the likes of Kano, Wiley, The Futureheads, Little Man Tate, Underground Heroes, Taio Cruz, Zane Lowe and Nick Grimshaw. We've had our music played on Radio 1, 6 Music, Xfm, Kerrang, BBC Radio WM and we've recorded our debut album with Gavin Monaghan (Editors/The Twang). We're working with manager Tim Abbot (ex-Creation Records/Oasis/Robbie Williams), towards getting a record deal.

Type of music: Indie/ Alternative/ Pop.

Influences: The Twang, White Lies, The Killers, Kings of Leon, The Rolling Stones, Alkaline Trio, Rage Against the Machine. Favourite band: The Twang.
