I'll be backstroke; ARNIE RESCUES A DROWNING MAN.
ARNOLD Schwarzenegger turned into a real-life Last Action Hero when he raced into action to save a drowning swimmer.
The 56-year-old Governor of California, spotted the man in trouble 100 yards out to sea while on a family holiday in Maui, Hawaii.
Former Mr Universe Arnie - whose Terminator catchphrase was "I'll be back" - dived into the sea and helped him back to the beach.
An onlooker said: "Arnie sat with this guy for quite a while as he had cramps, was breathless and a bit shaken up. He was also overawed by having just been rescued by the Terminator. It's not every day one of the world's most famous movie heroes saves you from drowning.
"I'm sure he'll be telling all his friends although they might not believe him."
Arnie was with his TV presenter wife Maria Shriver, and their four children.
His aide confirmed: "He saw a man in distress and swam out to see if he was OK. He said he had cramps and couldn't swim back, so Arnie told him to hang on and swam him 100 yards to the beach."
