I'm oche after snubbing Gers.

NATHAN ASPINALL faces a World Darts quarter-final at 12.30pm today instead of an appearance in the Old Firm game after knocking back a move to Rangers.

The 27-year-old from Stockport was a prodigious goalkeeping talent before taking up arrows.

Aspinall, who faces Brendan Dolan, said: "I played football all my life and I had trials at Stockport.

"I was offered a deal at Rangers aged 11 but it would have meant the family had to relocate so we didn't go with it.

"At 15 I found other things. Football was my life. I was a great keeper. I loved it but it was a long time ago and a lot has happened since then."
