I'll repay Moyes' faith claims ace Gueye.

YOUNG Everton striker Magaye Gueye is desperate to repay the faith shown in him by manager David Moyes.

The 20-year-old France under-21s international made the switch to Goodison Park this summer in a pounds 1m deal from Strasbourg.

Gueye has so far had to settle for appearances in the Carling Cup against Huddersfield Town and Brentford but is determined to prove himself in the Premier League.

Moyes has told Gueye he can be his "secret weapon" and the youngster is inspired by the belief the Goodison manager has in him.

"The coach was following me for six months," said. Gueye. "He wants me to succeed to play like Steven Pienaar.

"He even said I am his secret weapon.

"I am always in the group, the coach will feel the right moment to play me.

"I am someone very ambitious, I have always dreamt to play in a great league, it has always been in my mind.

"I know it will be difficult at Everton, I will have to work hard to get a position in the team, but it is the very best for me."
