Byline: DearColeen THE STRAIGHT-TALKING PROBLEM PAGE

Dear Coleen, I AM a 22-year-old girl and I've been jobless for almost six months.

I AM I've almI' hav an a y wo of zer I wo I've tried looking but I haven't been able to find anything. Now I feel I can't work because I'm scared of facing people and have zero confidence.

I've always been a hard worker but now I feel like a lazy loser. I try to avoid my friends and relatives now so I don't have to face their questions.

Coleen says.. DON'T feel like a loser - it's not as if you're not trying and everyone knows you're a hard worker.

In today's climate, it's not easy to find a job - many people are in the same boat. But you have the right attitude - that's vital.

Keep fighting for what you want and make sure you're not sitting at home getting demotivated. Try some volunteer work - anything that helps you interact with other people.

It'll give you a reason to get up in the morning.
