Hygienic pressure transmitter.

Hygienic Pressure Transmitter

Delta Controls Ltd have developed a 'dry' sensor that does not have a chemical seal. The significance of this development is that earlier pressure transmitters incorporated a chemical seal, in the form of a fluid, to protect the transmitter from sudden rises in temperature experienced during CIP cleaning.

With the Delta design, a tough solid diaphragm is used and the semi conductor strain gauges are mounted directly on the back of it. This flush-mounting diaphragm is protected to IP 65 but complete details come from the company at Island Farm Avenue, East Molesey, Surrey, tel: 081-941 5166.
