Hybrid process cooling system.

EMSCO, Inc. s Hyprcool hybrid process cooling system utilizes an adiabatic wetted cooling tower for water system heat rejection. The hybrid process combines the advantages of dry air cooling towers in the winter months and the advantages of fluid coolers in the summer months to provide highly effective heat rejection for foundry water system requirements. The hybrid process utilizes a fine mist spray into the air prior to contacting the copper cooling tubes which lowers air temperature and increases the heat rejection level of the unit. The control system cycles individual fans as process water and ambient temperatures dictate, and it ultimately activates the water spray mist when warranted. --EMSCO, Inc.
