Mobile operator Hutchison 3G has announced a number of deals that it has made to bring digital mapping and location-based services to its upcoming mobile phone network.

The company's 3 mobile phone network will now receive maps and related services from Ordnance Survey and Tele Atlas as well as location-based services from whereonearth, IONIC Software and TCS.

Hutchison has also stated its intention to use the same location-based services providers for its networks in Australia, Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Israel and Sweden.

No financial terms were disclosed.
