Hunt after top-of-range cars stolen; East City News SHENSTONE.

POLICE are hunting for thieves who stole two top of the range cars after breaking into a house to steal the keys.

An expensive silver four door Mercedes and a blue Peugeot 307 Rapia were stolen off the driveway of a house in Court Drive, Shenstone, Lichfield.

Police say the thieves forced their way into the house by forcing open a kitchen window overnight on Wednesday.

They then escaped in the two vehicles - the Mercedes registration was KN53 MWV and the Rapia was BK52 FZU.

It is believed the cars may have been stolen to order.
