Hungarian Military Pilot Seriously Burned in Training Flight.

Budapest, Ramadan 8, 1436, Jun 25, 2015, SPA -- Hungary's defense ministry says a military pilot has suffered serious burns after the engine of a training plane caught fire in midflight.

Chief of Staff Col. Gen. Tibor Benko said Thursday that the two pilots in the Soviet-made Yakovlev Yak-52 managed to land at the military air base in the city of Szolnok. The injured pilot, who was in the front cockpit and nearer the engine, was taken for treatment to the military hospital in the capital, Budapest, AP reported.
