Hundreds enjoy fete at hospital.

HUNDREDS of Sutton Coldfield families enjoyed the annual Good Hope Hospital Community Fete.

Despite the drizzle, 500 people joined MP for Sutton Andrew Mitchell and Aston Villa legend Doug Ellis, who opened the fete.

Activities included live entertainment, hospital tours, a dog show, craft stalls, water zorbing and children's games.

Doug Ellis said: "I would like to congratulate the volunteers for raising money for such a good cause. Good Hope is a famous hospital, which I thoroughly enjoyed chairing and I'm proud to be here to support this event."

Andrew Mitchell MP said: "This is the second year of this important and enjoyable event. The Good Hope annual fete brings together staff, the local community, patients and supporters of a really worthwhile activity whilst at the same time giving people from Sutton the chance to learn more about their local hospital."
