Human ecology economics; a new framework for global sustainability.

Ed. by Roy E. Allen.

303 pages

Routledge frontiers of political economy; 92

Social scientists first set out the framework of human ecology economics, then use it to analyze issues relating to globalization and development; money, capital and wealth; and global concerns, ways of being, and the future. Their topics include innovation and evolution in the world economy, land reform in Nepal, rethinking mercantilism and 18th-century France, and the role of economics in climate policy. The research for the nine articles was originally conducted for an encyclopedia of human that was never published, and the results have been presented at conferences in 2000 and 2007.
