Hudepohl-Schoenling garners two golds

Little Kings Cream Ale and Hudepohl 14-K Premium beer were awarded gold medals in a blind tasting competition at the 1989 Great American Beer Festival held last month in Denver, CO.

Ten nationally-recognized brewing experts judged beers in 23 categories, and found Little Kings was best among the American Cream Ale entrants. Hudepohl 14-K, meanwhile, took first in the American Light Pilsener category.

Another Hudepohl-Schoenling product, Midnight Dragon Special Reserve malt liquor, took second place in the malt liquor division.

"We're extremely pleased to have our products awarded medals again this year at the Festival," said Ken Lichtendahl, president, Hudepohl-Schoenling. "It's great to see our extra effort in brewing our products recognized by a panel of brewing experts."
