Huddle.net Launches the First Free Facebook Team Workspaces for Consumers and Businesses at DEMO 08 Conference.

PALM DESERT, California and LONDON, January 28 /PRNewswire/ --

- Huddle.net Extends Power of Social Networks for Work and Play with Embedded Web Office Tools and Desktop Document Access

DEMO CONFERENCE, Station #35 -- Huddle.net, the provider of collaborative team workspaces for business and play, announced today the launch of free Facebook virtual team workspaces at the DEMO 08 conference. In its 18th year, DEMO has launched some of the tech industry's most notable products including salesforce.com, TiVo and the Palm Pilot. At the conference, Huddle will demonstrate several new product features including Facebook integration, embedded Web Office tools such as Word and Excel and Huddle Desktop for easy document access. With these new capabilities, Huddle.net continues to empower the Web worker or personal project manager by connecting the people they know and the tools they need in order to work better together and get something done. Now consumers and business can link with the Huddle network, interact with teams inside and outside of Facebook, send alerts, reminders and approvals for documents and projects all in a single secure interface. Live demonstrations can be seen at station 35 at the DEMO Conference, January 28 - 30, or on www.demo.com

"In the last 10 years, the line between business and personal computing has blurred as technology has allowed us to access the people and content we need from anywhere and everywhere. Today's tech-savvy person demands access to whatever services and solutions they need - the ones that work - whether we are planning a wedding or coordinating a customer project," said Chris Shipley, executive producer of DEMO. "Huddle.net is the first virtual collaboration service to integrate the social networks we rely on today and the business tools we need into a single, secure space where we can view everything that is important to us."

With Huddle.net consumers and businesses can instantly create networks of secure workspaces. The Huddles can be open, allowing the groups to work and grow organically, or closed with specific permissions for each user. The key is that any one with or without an account can be invited into a Huddle and become part of a team or project. At the DEMO conference, Huddle.net will launch three new key features that will extend every team's ability to get something done:

-- Facebook Integration: Access Huddles, add team members from friends
and files, approve actions and update profiles ... all through you
 Facebook account.
-- Huddle Desktop: Drag and drop new documents or access your Huddle
 content directly from your desktop.
-- OpenSAM Integration - Create, view and edit documents in Word,
PowerPoint and Excel within Huddle on any Web browser through embedded
Web Office tools from iNetWord, EditGrid and Preezo.

Along with the launch of these new capabilities Huddle is now enabling teams to Huddle up for free. The new free version of Huddle includes three team workspaces, one Gigabyte of document space and unlimited team members. Additional packages begin at US$19.58 for up to 10 Huddles. This latest version of Huddle extends our ability to provide that access to both consumers and businesses alike."
