Huawei launches new series of MateBook devices in KSA.

Arab News The Huawei Matebook launch ceremony was held recently at the company's headquarters in Riyadh. Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia has launched its new generation series of MateBook products: MateBook X, MateBook E and MateBook D. The launch ceremony was held recently at the company's headquarters in Riyadh. Entrepreneurs increasingly need innovative technologies to help them use computers anytime and anywhere to do their day-to-day business. "The new series introduces the latest innovations and features that redefine the benefits of mobile devices and PC technologies into one integrated device," a Huawei press release said. Pablo Ning, vice president, Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia, said: "Following the success of the first generation of the MateBook devices in the global market and because users are looking for devices that can make them avoid desktop computer, we found it necessary to put the new generation of MateBook computers at their disposal. We have been evolving the mobility experience for the new generation by creating three different categories to suit all their needs. Of course, we have not forgotten the most important criteria our customers are looking for: high quality, superb design and superior performance." He added: "We are committed to making the latest MateBook a complete device that combines the creativity and design of laptops and full power in terms of processor, performance and operating system. We are very pleased to launch the next generation of computers to our customers in Saudi Arabia. Users will experience today a device that is the perfect companion for them wherever they go, whether for business or for browsing or entertainment." HUAWEI MateBook X has a screen ratio of 88 percent, with a 4.4 mm edge and a 3:2 display to give users a better viewing experience. It also features a 2K display made of Corning Gorilla Glass and supports eye comfort technology. The computer also features a 41.4-watt-hour battery, the first Dolby Atmos personal computer with speakers designed in cooperation with Dolby. The MateBook E is a 2-in-1 laptop with a screen ratio of 84 percent, featuring a new Folio keyboard with an adjustable angle of up to 160 degrees, and 2K touch screen display. It is powered by up to a 7th generation Intel Core i5 processor. MateBook D is a 15.6-inch interactive desktop laptop with 83 percent of the display and 178-degree viewing angle, with Intel's seventh-generation Core i5 or i17 processor.
