Howa is releasing the first-ever bolt-action rifle chambered for the versatile 6.5 Grendel cartridge. The short length of the cartridge offers the 6.5 Mini Action a super short throw for lightning-quick bolt cycling while reducing the weight of the gun. It weighs in at 5.7 pounds without an optic and can be had with a 20-inch lightweight barrel, 20-inch heavy barrel or 22-inch standard barrel, options that tailor the gun to whatever you might want it for. The trigger is a HACT two-stage unit and is standard on all Mini Actions. Magazines can be had in either 5- or 10-round capacity, and stock options include OD green, black, or dipped Multicam, Kryptek Highlander or Yote camo. You can also get it in a package that includes a Nikko Stiriing Panamax riflescope. Price without a scope is $608, and with one it'll set you back $855.
