How to make the most of exchange deals and get best value for your old smartphone.

India, Feb. 2 -- No matter how much you love your phone, there will be a time when you have to let it go and buy a better device. However, rather than just letting your pride and joy gather dust in a corner, why not sell it and let it finance your new phone? That way, not only will you get a brand new phone, but your old phone is also safely disposed off.

Misconceptions:

There are a number of misconceptions about selling your old phone. Most assume that selling a device is quite difficult and requires a lot of haggling in order to get the best possible price for the device. Many go through multiple websites in order to find the right price to sell their device for. Even so, most aren't sure that they got the right value for their old phone. Additionally, while many people know that Flipkart, and other such e-commerce websites sell a variety of phones, people feel that they cannot exchange their device there. They also feel that there are multiple strict evaluations that a device has to go through before it is purchased and that their phone cannot pass them.

Reality:

However, e-commerce websites like Flipkart are actually the best places to sell your old phone. Not only do they buy old phones, but they also help you sell your old phone, making it easy to upgrade. Other methods require a person to post an advertisement for their phone, wait for a response, and then go meet the buyer. Selling it on e-commerce websites lets people sell their old phone from the comfort of their homes and get instant cashback. The best part is that they will not have to haggle for the right price as they can rest assured knowing that they got the best value for their phone. Not only that, but selling your old phones via other methods takes a lot of time, and if your device is too old, many people may not want to buy it. Additionally, users won't have to worry about their phone passing any strict evaluation when selling on e-commerce websites. As long as the phone is in a working condition, most companies are more than willing to take it off your hands.
