How to Draw a Hungry Bear.

 Ask the bees about teeth.
The woman rose when the god
was done, a void
against the stars, just as she rose again
when the goddess was done,
this time on all fours
with claws that took the soil.
Her son said please
give me this, leveling his aim.
How could he know her in this form?
The god took the stars
on the edge of their shadows
and cast them in a plot
of sky. The god stood
right where you are,
the stars behind him gone. Your voice
doesn't reach far.
