IS anyone surprised 2,000 troops have left the Army in just two months? Fighting in the hell hole that is Afghanistan is bad enough. But even worse is the appalling lack of essential equipment denied our heroes and the total lack of respect shown them by the Ministry of Defence.
Things have really gone too far when the situation gets this bad yet the number of troops leaving the Army is dismissed by the Ministry of Defence as a "blip". - Alan Carpenter, Fenham, Tyne and Wear THE dropping of the atom bomb on Hiroshima was an appalling event.
