Hovis Holzstoff announces changes in Fiberweb Group leadership.

In the past month, several management changes have been put into effect at Holvis Holzstoff's nonwovens division, Fiberweb Group, Basel, Switzerland, the seventh largst manufacturer of nonwovens in the world. Effective October 1, Guido Patroncini, head of the Fiberweb Group, has left his position as president and chief executive officer. According to a release from the company, the departure of Mr. Patroncini comes as a result of "differences regarding the management of the division and in particular of Sodoca (located in Beisheim, France). Holvis Holzstoff and Mr. Patroncini agreed on the separation."

In the interim, the regional managers of Fiberweb in Europe and the U.S., Aldo Ghira and Roger Fehrman, will report directly to the chief executive officer of Holvis, Pedro Reiser. No replacement for Mr. Patroncini is expected to be named in the near future.

In other Fiberweb personnel news, Dag Hermelin, former manager- finance and administration, has been named managing director of Fiberweb Sweden. He succeeds Ulf Holm, who leaves to pursue other interests.

At Sodoca, Jean-Marie Riou has been named managing director, replacing Pierre Vauterin, who left the company in June. Mr. Riou has been in the textile industry for many years.

Also, Beate Schilling has been named marketing manager-medical at Fiberweb Europe (including Sodoca, Fiberweb Sweden and Neuberger). She had been R&D manager at Sodoca.
