House panel calls for enhancing ties with Ukraine.

Amman, Sept. 11 (Petra)-Head of the Jordanian-Ukrainian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, MP Muhammad Ataiqah, called for enhancing parliamentary relations between Jordan and Ukraine to mutually serve interests in various issues of common concern. During the committee's meeting on Wednesday with the Ukrainian Charge D'Affaires Dmytro Byliev, Ataiqah highlighted the importance of strengthening relations between the two friendly countries in the fields of trade, tourism, and economy. "Bilateral relations, based on joint coordination and cooperation, are firm and deep-rooted, and the two countries share similar stances on many regional and international issues," Ataiqah pointed out. For his part, Byliev said his country is interested in developing and strengthening its relations with the Kingdom in various fields, lauding Jordan's pivotal role under the wise Hashemite leadership regionally and internationally. The diplomat expressed appreciation for the committee's efforts to promote Jordanian-Ukrainian relations and the importance to maintain contact to serve mutual interests. //Petra// AG 11/09/2019 14:24:42
