Houlihan/Lawrence opens new office.
Houlihan/Lawrence, Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess County's largest independently owned residential real estate finn, will open a new office at 10 Old Post Road South in Croton-on-Hudson. This will bring the total number of Houlihan/Lawrence offices to 30 in three counties.Located in the upper village, the 1,500-square-foot office will serve the Villages of Croton-on-Hudson and Buchanan, Town of Cortlandt, the City of Peekskill, and parts of Ossining. The office is currently undergoing renovations, and will be up and running by September. It is anticipated that the new location will be staffed with 15 to 20 sales associates.
"The Croton area market has been growing significantly over the past several years and we are excited about establishing a presence there," said Stephen Meyers, President and CEO of Houlihan/ Lawrence.
"While we have handled many transactions in this area, there has been a gap in our office locations between our Briarcliff Manor and Cold Spring. We now look forward to being able to provide a specific location to more efficiently serve homeowners and homebuyers in the Croton/Peekskill area."
Houlihan/Lawrence's move into the Croton market follows the company's recent major expansion into the Dutchess County market, with the acquisition of William J. Lavery Real Estate. The company now owns and operates four Dutchess County offices, including a new 4,000-square-foot office in East Fishkill.
In addition, Houlihan/Lawrence recently announced the formation of a new Division of Land Development and New Construction to expand its role as a strategic partner with developers of new residential housing in Westchester.
