Hotel is a heartbreak for couple.

Byline: By STEVE MYALL

A COUPLE'S dream honeymoon trip turned to a nightmare when they found their sunshine hotel was still being BUILT.

Shaun and Helen Betts expected a luxury room on Crete - but got a dark self-catering apartment with a broken TV.

Teaching assistant Helen, 40, said: "It was meant to be a luxury complex with gym, spa, Jacuzzi, massage rooms and entertainment.

"The only thing they had was a pool." The couple, wed 11 years, waited until their two kids were older before booking the romantic pounds 638 break.

Helen and Shaun, 37, flew home to Norwich after two days at Vasia Beach and Spa Hotel. Travel agents Yourholiday.com said it was a "very nice" hotel and had no other complaints. Tour operators Medhotels.com agreed some work was finished late.
