Hot Telly: THIS ONE WILL RUN AND RUN.

Byline: John Russell

BAD GIRLS suddenly got better as grim Jim Fenner arranged for motormouth Shell Dockley to make a daring escape.

She got away thanks to the presence in the prison of a TV camera crew filming a docusoap documentary.

The fictional programme-makers were intrusive, insensitive and in the way. So that much was realistic, then.

OOH, AAH, DELIA featured still-scrumptious-at-60 cookery writer Delia Smith getting passionate about the new love in her life - Norwich City FC.

She always seems so cool in the kitchen. But sitting in the stands she was simmering so far above boiling point that she surely deserves a game.

The rest of the players looked so clueless, Delia could be the missing ingredient.

AUDREY is in increasing demand in CORONATION STREET as she tries desperately to care for her friend Alma while coping with her concerns as a councillor.

Sue Nicholls is in simply scintillating form as she gives Audrey a wonderful warmth and humour. My favourite actress has never been better.
