Hospitals deserve more of our backing; LETTERS.

I RECENTLY spent a month's respite care in the Denbigh infirmary, whilst my husband was hospitalised in Glan Clwyd.

I don't think everyone appreciated what a wonderful community hospital we have here on our doorstep.

OF I could not have been better cared for by medical, nursing, professional and domestic staff. I was treated with such kindness and courtesy with good food and plenty of humour served up as well.

We hear so many negative comments about our NHS, I feel very proud of our infirmary and think it deserves more of our support and thanks.

These sentiments are fully supported by my husband's treatment in Glan Clwyd, and continuing care by our district nurses.
