Horse Racing: MATCH OF THE DAY; TRADING POST.
Baddam vs Bulwark
VERDICT Bulwark turned in a career-best behind Sergeant Cecil in the Yorkshire Cup last time and a repeat of that effort is good enough to put him bang there in this. However, the ground is going to be on the soft side this evening, which will count against him and, as a result, I've got to favour Baddam to get the better of him in the match. Mick Channon's stayer doesn't want it too soft, either, but at least he has won on good to soft and his reappearance second behind Tungsten Strike proves his wellbeing. He'll be favourite in this head-to-head, but he still rates a good value bet.
