Horse Racing: Johnston Derby repeat bid; PREVIEW: SWITZERLAND.

TRAINER Mark Johnston and owner Markus Graff, who teamed up to land the 2003 Swiss Derby with Financial Future, attempt to repeat the feat with Swiss Act at Frauenfeld in Zurich today.

Unlike most of his 12 rivals, Swiss Act is already proven over the full 1m4f race distance, having won a Chester handicap over the trip a month ago. He will be ridden by Joe Fanning, while Robert Havlin, Fergus Sweeney and Dane O'Neill all have mounts for top local trainer Miroslav Weiss.

However, the leading home hope is the Swiss 2,000 Guineas hero Pont Des Arts, winner of his last five races, while Meshugah, from the Richard Gibson yard, could prove the pick of five French challengers.
