Horror Hill not worth a Bean; NOW SHOWING.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D Cert 15 ? SEAN Bean goes screaming into the night in this sequel to the 2006 hit movie which was based on a Japanese video game.

When Christopher Da Silva (Bean) goes missing, his daughter Sharon (Adelaide Clemens) returns to the alternate dimension of Silent Hill in search of him.

She is faced with a nightmarish world where gloomy, chain-clanging corrridors are populated by screeching doors, bleeding demons and giant stuffed bunny rabbits.

There is a nifty giant spider constructed of department store mannequins which is the highlight but overall the film looks cheap and the special effects are weak.

Suspense is ignored for cheap gore and the director is too busy getting in bits of the video game to make a coherent movie.

Only the occasional moments of unintentional campery provide fun in the pointless action and witless dialogue.
