Hong Kong : Approval for Deputy Commissioner of Police (Management) to further extend service for two months.

The incumbent Deputy Commissioner of Police (Management), Mr Chau Kwok-leung, will extend his current term of office for two more months to July 7, 2017.

A Police spokesman said today (April 28), "Approval has been given to further extend Mr Chau's service for two months to meet operational need."

Before reaching the normal retirement age of 57 on May 8, 2016, Mr Chau has been approved to extend his service for 12 months to May 7, 2017. Approval has been given to further extend his service for two months until July 7, 2017.
