Homewood Suites by Hilton(R) Opens Hotel in Chesapeake, Virginia; Represents Brand's 6th Hotel in Virginia.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Homewood Suites by Hilton(R), the national brand of upscale, all-suite, residential-style hotels, has opened the 100-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel Chesapeake/Greenbrier Virginia. The hotel owned by Crossways Properties and managed by ARP Hospitality Corporation, represents another addition to the growing roster of nearly 170 Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels nationwide.

"The new hotel's location, within walking distance of the Greenbrier shopping district and near the Chesapeake Conference Center, makes our city an ideal market for an upscale, extended-stay hotel like Homewood Suites by Hilton," said Gary LeBlanc, general manager.

"Our hotel is designed for guests who stay for five or more nights, but is also perfect for short stays and families who need to feel more at home while they are traveling," LeBlanc said. The Homewood Suites by Hilton Chesapeake/Greenbrier's address is 1569 Crossways Blvd., Chesapeake, Virginia. The hotel is conveniently located near many local tourist attractions including the Greenbrier Mall and the Chilled Ponds Ice Rink.

The five-story Homewood Suites by Hilton Chesapeake/Greenbrier features residential-style studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and spacious sleeping and living areas that are large enough for work, study, entertaining or relaxing. In an effort to help guests be more productive, the Hilton Family of Hotels custom designed its own clock, featuring one of the easiest-to-set alarms.
