Homewood Suites by Hilton(R) Continues Growth into New Markets; Six New Hotels in Second Quarter; Development Pipeline Looks Strong Throughout the Year.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Homewood Suites by Hilton(R), a leading brand of upscale all-suite, residential-style hotels introduced in 1989, continued its record growth through second quarter 2006, opening six new properties. These properties illustrate the brand's continued initiative to build in a variety of markets, including airport locations, near shopping districts and resort/tourist attractions.

New Hotels: Homewood Suites by Hilton opened six properties this quarter, including: Chesapeake, VA; Albany, NY; Brighton, MI; Houston - Near the Galleria, TX; Springfield-North/Holyoke, MA and Hartford-South/Glastonbury, CT.

"The extended-stay segment presents compelling investment opportunities because demand still outstrips supply, and this type of hotel maintains a stable level of performance irrespective of economic conditions," said Rebecca Wyatt, senior vice president of brand management for Homewood Suites by Hilton. "We're anticipating another strong year for the lodging industry, in general, and an outstanding year for our brand, in particular."

Details of the properties include:

--Homewood Suites by Hilton Chesapeake, Virginia, owned by Crossways Properties and managed by the ARP Hospitality Corporation, is located within walking distance of the Greenbrier shipping district and near the Chesapeake Conference Center. The 100-suite property is located at 1569 Crossways Blvd., in close proximity to many local tourist attractions including the Greenbrier Mall and the Chilled Ponds Ice Rink.

--Homewood Suites by Hilton Albany, New York, owned by Turf Suites Albany, LLC and managed by Turf Hotels, Inc., is located only one mile and a half from the Albany International Airport. The 133-suite property is located at 216 Wolf Road, and is also near shopping and a golf course.

--Homewood Suites by Hilton Brighton, Michigan, owned by Brighton Hotel Suites Inc. and managed by A&M Hospitality Inc., is located minutes from downtown Brighton and Howell shopping districts. The property also features meeting space.

--Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston - Near the Galleria, Texas, owned by an affiliate of RLJ Development, LLC and managed by White Lodging Services, is located in the heart of the prestigious Galleria shopping district in uptown Houston. The hotel is also just seven miles from Minute Maid Park and six miles from the Houston Museum District.

--Homewood Suites by Hilton Springfield-North/Holyoke, Massachusetts, owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging, is located in the heart of Holyoke's shopping district, as well as near the Six Flags amusement park.

--Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford-South/Glastonbury, Connecticut, owned by PRA Suites at Glastonbury LLC and managed by Hersha Hospitality Management, L.P., is located near the Somerset Square Mall and less than an hour from the Pequot Indian Casinos.

Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels feature residential-style studio, one- and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and spacious living and sleeping areas large enough for work, study, entertaining or relaxation. In an effort to help guests be more productive, Homewood Suites offers high-speed Internet access in all guest suites. In addition, the Hilton Family of Hotels recently custom designed its own alarm clock, featuring one of the industry's easiest-to-set alarms. What's more, the new clocks also feature a connection cable for MP3 players and other portable music devices including Apple iPods(R). The hotels also offer two-line phone sets and a large working desk with a comfortable ergonomic chair.

Launched in 1989, the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand today has more than 175 hotels open with another 120 in the pipeline.
