* USF Sarasota-Manatee brings the prestige of a nationally ranked research university to our backyard as a regional campus of the University of South Florida, providing affordable education and small classrooms.
* Currently located on 140 acres at U.S. 41 north of University Parkway (next to Ringling Museum of Art and across from Sarasota-Bradenton Airport).
* Starting in Fall 2006, a new 100,000-square-foot campus center will open--just north of our current location. The new facility will have a wide range of amenities, including 24 multipurpose classrooms, a 190-seat lecture/exhibition hall, seminar and video-conferencing rooms, computer labs, a daycare center, dining facilities, student gathering places, faculty and staff offices, a technology and learning center, and training facilities for the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
