Home loan crisis? I knitted my own.

AN AMAZING knitted house was among the big attractions at a Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts show in Liverpool.

The woolly gingerbread home is the handiwork of Alison Murray and a team of 700 knitters.

As well as pulling in the crowds the house is also being used to help raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The event, which exhibits a whole range of arts and crafts continues at the Aintree Pavilion this weekend.

Spokeswoman Samantha Mudge said: "It has been really successful so far. It seems to be really popular in the area which is just amazing. I'm really happy with the turnout."
