Holsten selects local artwork for ads.

Holsten Import Corp. has commissioned a painting by San Francisco artist Michael Brennan for use in the company's future advertising.

According to Brennan, his two loves--painting and Holsten beer--inspired his most recent artwork. For this artistic work, Brennan places a paint-speckled Holsten beer bottle on a vividly colored canvas.

Holsten will incorporate Brennan's painting into its advertising campaign beginning this fall, reported Holsten executive vice president Klaus von Mueller. The image will also appear in Holsten's point-of-sale displays and posters.

Brennan is the latest artist to be sponsored by Holsten. One previous artist was German graphic designer Michael Sauer, who designed the Holsten Light poster and T-shirt.

"We are very impressed by the extraordinary artistic talents of Brennan and Sauer and proud of their association with Holsten," von Mueller explained. "the sponsorships are an exciting opportunity for everyone involved."
