Hollywood madam gets three years for pimping.

LOS ANGELES: A woman convicted of running a call-girl operation whose clients were said to include Hollywood celebrities and top businessmen has been jailed for three years for pimping.

Judge Lloyd Nash said Jody Diane "Babydoll" Gibson (42), who allegedly went by the name Sasha in conducting the Internet-based operation, "is a tragic, pathetic individual".

Arrested last June, the flashy-dressing Gibson had once been a rival of former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss in providing high-priced call-girls to celebrities and other well-heeled clients.

She allegedly operated a ring of up to 30 prostitutes from a dilapidated home in Palo Verde. Clients, including actors, athletes and corporate executives, would pay between pounds 300 and pounds 2,000, choosing prostitutes from an Internet site, said Los Angeles Police
