Holiday greetings.

AVANTI INTRODUCES ITS COLLECTION of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas cards for 2013. Officials for the Detroit-based company say the focus of the 2013 fall holiday collection is on relatable characters that bring out both the fun and whimsy of these card-sending occasions. Christmas is a special opportunity for Avanti to develop content that references traditional imagery while adding its unique attitude and personality to every card. The humorous and fun-loving characters that help share the holiday this year include everything from pigs to penguins. Avanti is also introducing a new format and price point with its collection of StandOuts for both Halloween and Christmas.

"StandOuts have earned a spot in our everyday controls because they sell so well," says Lisa Engler, director of customer relations. "We knew that the idea of adding a little surprise inside the card would deliver even more excitement to the holiday collection." For example, candy-filled plastic pumpkins come to life on paper with simple pop outs inside, or a wizardly owl waves his magic wand and the inside of the card contains text that literally leaps off the page. The real magic of the StandOut card is not limited to dimensional components inside, but includes full color photographic interiors that add entertainment to the greeting, add officials.

The Christmas StandOuts also showcase a mix of graphic elements and text to add humor and personality to the card. New characters like a piglet in an elf outfit and bulldogs drooling over Christmas cookies offer alternatives to traditional designs. For more information, visit www.avantipress.com
