Hole-in-wall gang snatch Lego bricks.

THIEVES spent hours smashing a huge hole through a toyshop wall to steal box after box of Lego.

Owner Darren McGee said the gang were cashing in on a huge demand for the toy bricks with The Lego Movie now in cinemas.

Darren, 48, said: "The country is going Lego-crazy and the thieves knew exactly what they wanted to take.

"Lego is like plastic gold and is the most popular toy brand in the world.

"It is half-term and I have had children wanting to spend their pocket money in tears at my door after telling them nasty robbers have taken their toys."

The gang also got away with Sylvanian Family toys in the PS4,000 raid between 4pm on Sunday and 8.50am on Monday at the Toytown shop in Seaford, East Sussex.
