Hoffmann Architects announced the promotion of members of its New York staff.

Kristin Holtgrew, Assoc. ALA, LEED AP has been promoted to Project Manager.

Since joining Hoffmann Architects in 2011 as a Project Representative, Holtgrew has demonstrated proficiency in historic preservation of the building envelope, and she has twice been recognized for her work with promotions, first to Project Coordinator in 2013, and then to Senior Project Coordinator in January 2015.

Holtgrew received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Architecture.

Marcos Maldonado, Assoc. AIA has earned a promotion to Senior Project Coordinator for his initiative and reliability in meeting the demands of challenging building envelope projects.

With a degree in environmental design from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Architecture degree from Syracuse University, Maldonado joined the firm in 2012 as a Project Representative and was subsequently promoted to Project Coordinator in 2014.

William T. Brown has been promoted to Project Coordinator in credit to his ability to negotiate the structural and logistical challenges of building envelope rehabilitation.

After joining the firm in 2014 as a Project Representative, Brown has applied his degree in civil engineering from Villanova University to the structural engineering and thermal analysis of building enclosures.

In consultation for new buildings as well as for the rehabilitation of existing structures, Brown has provided design services to clients including the Ethical Culture Fieldston School, New York State University Construction Fund, and Prudential Insurance Company of America. He lives in New York.
