Hockey player's career on a roll.

A RUGBY teenager is off to Florida tomorrow to represent the UK in roller hockey.

Harris High School pupil Sebastian Johnson, aged 14, hopes to return to his Benn Street home victorious after the North American Roller Hockey Championship.

Seb is a founder member of the Rugby Warboyz In-line Roller Hockey Club, which trains at Ken Marriott Leisure Centre.

His mum Anita said: "The UK team is called Time to Shine, which is very apt.

"It's a great achievement for anyone to reach that level in any sport, let alone a minority sport like roller hockey."

Seb wants to thank his sponsors, without whom he would not have been able to make the trip.

Rugby Borough Council, the Ken Marriott Leisure Centre, Rugby Rokeby Lions and Hillmorton Fish Saloon sponsored him and his great aunt and uncle gave him pounds 1,000.
