His Long Black Coat Your Poem.

HIS long black coat I can see it now Streaming behind him Swaying And Falling in neat folds at the back It smelt of fresh air Of long walks unending Sending me even weaker than then Is it madness to be attracted again Is it madness to feel romantic again And yet still stay away? You said you would be wearing your long black coat You said you would come and look for me If I did not come back This fear I once had And your long black coat clothing my mind in respect Collecting sour milk bottles one by one Unwashed Forgetting to get washed This coat - your long black coat I can still see it now Streaming behind you Swaying And falling in neat folds at the back Black - it's a very nice colour black It smells of fresh air Of long walks unending Sending me even weaker than then Is it madness to be attracted again And again And yet still stay away? His long black coat.
